Thank you for inquiring about a hunt. My name is Ryan Popp and I am the owner of Upper Chesapeake Outfitters. I have been guiding waterfowl in the Northeast for 15 years. I got my captain's license at 19 and have a strong background in crabbing and fishing after being introduced to the outdoors by my father as a child.
 
At Upper Chesapeake Outfitters we are not confined to one area of the Bay. We may boot the flats or the Susquehanna River one day or gunning the lower Bay out of our 25 ft duck boat for Scoters or Old Squaw the next. As with any successful hunt, the name of the game is preparation. Our guides are on the water daily scouting for the next days' hunt. From October through the end of January, you can count on birds being on the Chesapeake Bay and we will work out hardest to make your hunt successful.
